We are completely dedicated to promoting local trade

It works because it is so big. Even very small businesses
in Barrow can enjoy a fantastic position on Google.
You may have heard of people wasting time and money on
websites that don't work. This is often because they are
burried by the big national websites. Go Barrow is a big
local website. One major difference is that it aims to link and
promote lots of small and medium size businesses in a way

A search engine literally searches through all the information on
world wide web, to help you find what you are searching for.
Google is an example of a search engine.
Some websites try to trick the search engines into
thinking that they contain information for your search
by using lots of key words (that don't actually relate to
their website) in order to get a better ranking.
Sometimes these
big national sites appear and claim to be
local, but they are not really. Instead, they contain adverts for
national businesses and not a lot about Barrow.

How will it bring me more business?
Adding photos and information about your business will help
your potential customers get a feel for what you are all about.
People like to see what they are getting. For instance, if a bed
and breakfast advert contains a video of the rooms, people
will feel confident about booking it without seeing it.
Or, if a menu is available on line, people can pre-order.
You just make it easier for people to use your services.
And when lots of people do this, it shows the whole town off,
and everyone wins.

Is it just for Barrow or people outside?

something not found in Barrow, we will list the closest one.
